How to disconnect BPN Maestro from your Cloudbeds PMS account?

If for any reason you ever need to disable and disconnect BPN Maestro from your Cloudbeds PMS account, please follow the steps outlined in this article. Please note that the interface needs to be terminated in both BPN Maestro and your Cloudbeds PMS backend.

Step-by-Step Guide

Before you start

In order to disconnect the interface between BPN Maestro and Cloudbeds, you must have access to the BPN Maestro Hotel Admin account or been granted permission to access your property’s System Settings. If your account does not have access to the BPN System Settings, please contact your IT Administrator.

Disconnect BPN <> Cloudbeds

After logging in to your BPN Maestro account, navigate to System Settings > API Settings to see the current status of your Cloudbeds API Connection. The API Status should be shown as Active and display two buttons to either Update the Room Details or Disconnect the interface. Click on Disconnect to terminate the interface between BPN Maestro and Cloudbeds PMS.

Click on the red DISCONNECT button to terminate the BPN <> Cloudbeds interface

Confirm Disconnect

A warning popup will appear asking you to confirm the termination of the interface. If you are sure you want to continue, press Disconnect to proceed.

IMPORTANT: Once confirmed, BPN Maestro will stop communicating with Cloudbeds PMS and no further guest details will be synchronised across the two applications. Please note that once the interface is disconnected, all current guest details loaded into BPN Maestro will be deleted and you will not be able to automatically fill guest details when entering a Duty Manager Logbook or creating a Guest Request.

This will NOT affect existing Duty Manager Logbook entries or Guest Requests that were created proper to disconnecting the interface.

Disconnect in Cloudbeds

While BPN Maestro will not communicate with Cloudbeds PMS any longer, it is also recommended to remove BPN Maestro from your Cloudbeds Apps & Integration Settings to ensure that all communication is stopped.
